Fatema Hamdani Wins Gold Stevie Award for Women in Business

Emeryville, California – November 9, 2024: Kraus Hamdani Aerospace’s Co-Founder and CEO, Fatema Hamdani, has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Most Innovative Woman of the Year - Technology category in the 21st annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.


The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.


More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 36 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.


Fatema Hamdani won Gold in the Most Innovative Woman of the Year - Technology category.

Fatema Hamdani’s leadership has propelled Kraus Hamdani Aerospace to the forefront of aerospace innovation. Her achievements in the past year alone include launching the AI-powered Multi-drone Coordination System and a historic U.S. Navy contract for the K1000ULE, the Navy's first solar-electric VTOL UAS. More recently, a $20 million APFIT award underscores the strategic value of these technologies in national defense.


Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals working on seven juries worldwide.
