Emeryville, California – March 22, 2025: Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA), a leader in operational autonomy and AI-powered unmanned systems, has been selected as a winner in the 2025 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group. The award recognizes KHA’s work advancing AI through its ultra-long endurance K1000ULE aircraft and its Multi-Domain Autonomous Collaborative Teaming (MD-ACT) system.

This recognition highlights the company’s continued impact in delivering real-world, AI-driven solutions that improve situational awareness, communication, and decision-making across multi-domain operations.

The K1000ULE is the world’s longest-endurance, fully electric, zero-emissions aircraft in its Group 2 category. Designed for persistent intelligence and autonomous mission execution, the K1000ULE integrates seamlessly with MD-ACT, KHA’s regenerative AI-based coordination platform. Together, these systems enable synchronized operations across unmanned and manned platforms—bridging critical gaps in connectivity and enhancing operational effectiveness in contested environments.

“We appreciate the recognition from the Business Intelligence Group,” said Fatema Hamdani, CEO and Co-Founder of Kraus Hamdani Aerospace. “This award reflects the depth of our AI development and our commitment to building systems that enhance national security, support global response efforts, and ultimately save lives.”

The Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards honor organizations applying AI in transformative ways. Winners are selected through a rigorous evaluation of innovation, implementation, and measurable results.

“The pace of AI innovation continues to accelerate,” said Russ Fordyce, CEO of the Business Intelligence Group. “Kraus Hamdani Aerospace stands out for applying artificial intelligence to solve complex, mission-critical challenges in the real world.”

KHA’s technology is trusted by the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Navy and is in active use across defense, disaster response, and commercial sectors. The company’s regenerative AI systems enable real-time data exchange, dynamic re-tasking, and mission continuity—extending operational reach and enhancing safety in complex scenarios.

About Kraus Hamdani Aerospace

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace is the world leader in building Ultra-Long Endurance (ULE) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) that mimic nature by utilizing onboard artificial intelligence to silently glide through the air like a bird and generate clean onboard energy. The K1000ULE is the world’s longest endurance fully electric zero-emissions autonomous unmanned aircraft in its size and weight category (Group-2).

The K1000ULE comprises aerial-based data, ISR, and communication services enabled by an AI-based Unmanned Vehicle Coordination System. This addresses critical customer needs within various sectors, such as emergency and disaster relief, data and telecommunications, defense, agriculture, oil and gas, climate change, and wildlife preservation.
