Our Mission

Saving Lives and Connecting the World

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace delivers intelligent autonomous technologies that keep teams connected, informed, and coordinated during the world’s most critical missions, helping protect lives, strengthen security, and support decisive action when every second matters.

In complex, remote, and disaster-response environments, mission success depends on resilient connectivity, real-time awareness, and seamless coordination across sea, land, and air. Kraus Hamdani Aerospace extends operational reach and strengthens decision-making by ensuring teams have the information they need, exactly when they need it.

Our mission is to empower the people responsible for national security, critical infrastructure, and emergency response with the trusted autonomous systems and persistent connectivity they need to operate with confidence in any environment.

Integrated Autonomy for Intelligence & Communications

Persistent Airborne Infrastructure

By bringing together software, AI, and hardware, Kraus Hamdani Aerospace provides persistent airborne infrastructure connecting sea, land, air, and space.

Fully integrated into the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) ecosystem through Anduril’s Lattice platform, our systems deliver intelligence, communications, and coordinated operations across manned and unmanned environments.

We ensure continuous awareness, connectivity, and operational continuity when and where it matters most.

Our Story

Founded with Purpose

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace was founded in 2016 by Stefan Kraus and Fatema Hamdani with a clear vision: to make persistent capability, resilient connectivity, and real-time situational awareness available wherever critical missions take place.

As global operations become more connected and mission environments more complex, defense and national security teams require trusted systems that can extend awareness, strengthen coordination, and operate across sea, land, air, and space. Stefan and Fatema recognized an opportunity to complement existing satellite and terrestrial infrastructure with a new class of autonomous aircraft designed for persistence, adaptability, and mission-critical reach.

Their vision centered on developing aircraft capable of remaining airborne for extended periods while providing sensing, communications, and coordination support across domains. These airborne platforms could serve as persistent aerial infrastructure connecting teams, bridging systems, and delivering intelligence where and when it matters most.

That belief led to the development of the K1000ULE, an ultra-long-endurance, autonomous, AI-enabled aircraft designed to function as persistent airborne infrastructure, expanding connectivity and situational awareness for defense and national security missions.

Today, that founding vision continues to guide Kraus Hamdani Aerospace. Every system is built to extend operational reach, deliver trusted intelligence, and strengthen coordination for teams operating in the world’s most demanding environments.

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace was founded in 2016 by Fatema Hamdani and Stefan Kraus with a clear belief: persistent capability, connectivity and situational awareness must be available wherever critical missions take place.

While satellites and terrestrial infrastructure have transformed global industries, they cannot always provide reliable coverage in contested or denied environments. For the defense sector, this creates gaps at the exact moments when coordination and awareness are most important.

Fatema and Stefan believed there was another path. Aircraft capable of remaining in the air for extended periods could provide persistent sensing and communications, acting as a bridge between disparate systems operating across domains.

That belief led to the development of ultra-long endurance autonomous AI-enabled aircraft designed to function as pseudo-satellites, restoring connectivity and situational awareness across sea, land, air, and space.

Today, that vision continues to guide the company.

Every system built is designed for defense and national security missions to extend reach, provide intelligence, and strengthen coordination among teams operating in the most demanding environments.

Built by the Brightest Minds in Aerospace

Mission First. Team Built.

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace is powered by a mission-driven team of engineers, technologists, operators, and military veterans united by one purpose: building the next generation of autonomous aerospace systems for national security.

Our team brings deep technical expertise and real-world operational experience to some of the most complex challenges in defense, aerospace, and mission-critical communications. Many of our team members have served in high-stakes environments where speed, clarity, coordination, and trust are essential to mission success.

That experience gives us a powerful advantage. We do not design from theory alone. We build with an operator’s perspective, an engineer’s precision, and a clear understanding of what mission teams need to act with confidence in demanding environments.

Everything we develop reflects that commitment: resilient, intelligent, field-informed technology built to extend reach, strengthen awareness, and support the people carrying out the world’s most dangerous and critical missions.

Mission First, Team Built

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace brings together engineers, technologists, and military veterans committed to solving some of the most complex challenges in aerospace and national security.

Many members of our team have combat experience and have operated in high-stakes environments. They understand firsthand what is on the line when communications fail, capabilities are degraded and time is limited.

That perspective shapes how we design, build, and test every product.
