Fort Carson Activates New Task Force for Pacific Region
The U.S. Army officially activated its 4th Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF) at Fort Carson, Colorado, marking another step in strengthening its operational presence in the Indo-Pacific. The new task force will operate under the 7th Infantry Division's Multi-Domain Command-Pacific and is designed to counter adversary threats across multiple domains, supporting joint forces operating in contested environments.
Kraus Hamdani Aerospace's K1000ULE unmanned aircraft system was on display during the activation, highlighting capabilities relevant to the Army's expanding multi-domain operations. Built for long-range, long-endurance missions, the K1000ULE provides persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and resilient communications relay to support situational awareness and connectivity across dispersed forces.

As the Army prepares for operations across the vast distances of the Indo-Pacific, maintaining reliable communications and continuous intelligence remains essential. The activation underscores the importance of capabilities that help warfighters stay informed, connected, and prepared to operate across geographically separated locations.
