Volatus Aerospace and Kraus Hamdani Aerospace have announced a strategic partnership to introduce the K1000ULE ultra-long-endurance unmanned aircraft system and KHA's ATNE++ resilient airborne communications technology to Canada. The collaboration establishes Volatus as KHA's Canadian Strategic Partner and outlines a path toward systems integration, training, operational deployment, lifecycle support, and the gradual development of domestic manufacturing capabilities in Québec.

The partnership is intended to strengthen Canada's ability to respond to large-scale wildfires by providing persistent airborne intelligence and resilient communications while also supporting broader national priorities, including emergency management, public safety, critical infrastructure protection, Arctic operations, and defense. Combining the K1000ULE with ATNE++ is expected to provide emergency responders with continuous situational awareness, communications relay, and intelligence throughout the lifecycle of an incident.

Beyond operational capabilities, the agreement lays the foundation for a sovereign Canadian aerospace capability. Subject to regulatory, technical, and commercial milestones, future aircraft supporting Canadian programs are expected to be progressively manufactured at Volatus' Mirabel facility, expanding domestic industrial capacity and strengthening Canada's aerospace supply chain.
