U.S. Army Expands Use of Solar Drones

The U.S. Army is broadening its deployment of Kraus Hamdani Aerospace’s K1000ULE unmanned aircraft system across the Indo-Pacific, most recently during Exercise Salaknib 25 in the Philippines. Operating with the 1st Multi-Domain Task Force, the fully electric, solar-powered aircraft provided real-time intelligence and communication relay support throughout the training event at Fort Magsaysay.
