Kraus Hamdani Aerospace’s solar-electric K1000ULE set a new world endurance record for Group 2 uncrewed aerial vehicles, completing a 75-hour, 35-minute continuous flight earlier this month at Oregon’s Pendleton UAS test range. The mission, which marked the aircraft’s 75th flight, significantly outperformed the previous record of 36 hours held by Lockheed Martin’s Stalker VXE.

Designed for operations in highly contested and infrastructure-denied environments, the K1000ULE is fully electric and AI-enabled. Its ultra-long endurance and autonomy allow it to function as a pseudo-satellite, supporting missions such as surveillance, signal relay, disaster response, and climate monitoring, all without relying on fuel or ground infrastructure.
